LeVio The Label

LeVio The Label is an equestrian inspired design label, named after two animals that stole my heart: Violet my first horse, and Leland, my current four legged partner.  We strive to provide fashionable garments, that can be worn both inside the barn and in show ring while riding, and off the horse as street and office wear. Our goal is to create affordable and versatile pieces, so equestrians can integrate their riding clothes into their everyday wardrobes. This is a unique concept, because equestrian clothes are traditionally worn exclusively for riding, and they do not cross over into the streetwear space. We are inspired by the natural aspect of horses and their environment, and choose colour palettes and materials to reflect this. This fall, our focus is on classic neutrals and sustainable, durable materials, using various shades of mono chromatic browns in our leathers, knits, collared shirts and blazers. As the Founder, I want to share with others , how riding has inspired all aspects of my life, including my personal style and values. I am very concerned about climate change, and I am incorporating sustainability into my business model. LeVio offers a program where  riders donate their gear, and all of the proceeds of the sales are donated to Youth Mental Health Canada. A charity that focuses on education and advocacy for youth mental health. They advocate for greater funding of needs-based innovative support and services, both in health care and education. Their mission is to raise awareness of youth mental health and provide a better support network. Giving back is very important to my brand. I believe if you have the resources and platform, to have a voice to  contribute to the greater good of society, you should.
